Twitter Web Client : Electoral law was written when campaign materials were mostly printed and fails to reflect today’s digital society. We need legislation that ensures digital campaign materials contain information about who is responsible for producing and distributing them to voters.

Twitter Web Client : We need a more comprehensive approach to reforming electoral law. We want to see an overarching UK Elections Act brought forward to ensure clear, modern rules which are easy to follow and enforce. Similar legislation is also needed in Scotland and Wales.

Twitter Web Client : We found that nearly everyone in the pilot areas who went to vote at their polling station was able to show the correct ID without difficulty. Important questions remain, however, about how an ID requirement would work at a poll with higher levels of turnout.
