Twitter Web Client : It's worrying that so many people think asking Guardiola difficult questions was 'bad journalism'. That's what journalists are meant to do, hold power to account. As for the 'bad timing' argument, do people seriously think journos can just phone Pep up for a chat?

Twitter Web Client : Miguel Delaney I agree with much of what you have written, Miguel, particularly about Abu Dhabi. But I also think there has always been a financial disparity and unless we switch to a US team model with salary caps and revenue sharing, there always will be.

Twitter Web Client : When great Real Madrid sides outspend the opposition and win La Liga, they are celebrated. Same with Barcelona. Same with Juve in Italy. Or, way back when, AC Milan. A great Man City side wins the title in England by one point and suddenly it's the end of football.

Twitter Web Client : Vincent Kompany's leaving of Manchester City was done with class, much like the way he conducted himself throughout his career at the club. No fuss, no ego, no farewell tour. Scoring one of the best and most important goals in the club's history was his goodbye.

Twitter Web Client : dave bones Rob Harris I respect your opinion, too, Dave. This is a great City team. Always difficult to compare different eras. Don't demonise Rob Harris, by the way. He's a very, very good journalist. He asks challenging questions to a lot of people, not just Guardiola.

Twitter Web Client : Shattered the record. Not the round I wanted. Game is closer than my score. I’m putting all I have into tomorrow’s round. Thank you NY for all your support. ❤️👍

Acclaiming performances of players can be separated from the need to report the surrounding circumstances at clubs
