Twitter Web App : Thanks to my co-author Nick Walker (and my Turkish friends), I had my first successful book signing of World of Thermo, Thermometer Rising on Saturday. Here is a picture of a great crowd that we had in Alpharetta. (Yes, in my old age I am rocking suspenders.)

Twitter Web App : Tupelo Mississippi set a record high temperature of 97 degrees breaking the old of 95 degrees set in 1953.
Of note: It will be the hottest and driest September on record. ( no rain is expected Monday and record highs continue).

Twitter Web App : Broken records and high tides, again! Savannah tied its high temp record of 94 degrees while Charleston tied the previous record of 92 degrees. High tide is approximately in an hour with expected peaks for CHS (7.3 and 7.7 MLLW) and for Fort Pulaski (9.3 and 9.7 MLLW).

Twitter Web App : It shouldnt be a surprise that Sept has been pretty hot 🔥! But just how hot? Right now Sept is the 2nd hottest Sept and the driest Sept on record at TLH (Records date back to 1896). Also, the 101 deg on 9/18 is the second warmest high temp ever recorded in the month of Sept!
