iPhone : Sharing a pretty big and shiny data point in my life: I am thrilled to announce that I am joining Pentagram Design as a partner in the New York office (!)

Incredibly excited to start this new adventure!! fastcompany.com/90349696/data-…

iPhone : Nicole Cliffe Years ago, I was wined and dined at a fancy NYC restaurant (Lutece or La Cote Basque) by a vendor on an expense account. The only thing on the menu that seemed at all familiar were sweetbreads, which I thought would be like glazed dinner rolls from back in Ohio. Hijinx ensued!

Twitter Web Client : I went back to Ethiopia late last year for Addis Foto Fest, which Aïda Muluneh founded partly to challenge photography's entrenched biases about Africa. Wrote about that, and the larger provocations of Muluneh's work, for my first piece in the magazine: theatlantic.com/magazine/archi…

iPhone : “I think it’s looking good.” The combination of bravado and desperation as Saul Bass tries to talk Stanley Kubrick into a poster design for The Shining will be distressingly familiar to any working designer Design Museum

iPhone : “I think art has value because it has value. I'm not gonna wait for somebody else to tell me my work has value. I certainly wasn't gonna wait on people to tell me I had value. I'd probably still be waiting. [I]t has value 'cause I think it has value.” – Mark Bradford
